Anyone know of any good high temp paint?

I want to do my headers in a custom color...bronze or maybe a dark gray. Something to set them apart from the rest of the bike...but around here the only high temp paint i can get is black or chevy orange from autozone.


any suggestions?

My FLAPS has a bunch of high temp engine enamel colors, just gotta look around at other places. I've used Krylon wrinkle finish on a valve cover before, not as high-temp but still does very well in heat, I've seen it on headers before.

I was looking at VHT Paints...but the website says they are out of the Flad Gold color I wanted.

you should be able to get VHT all over the place. somebody's gotta have your gold

It's really cheap on eBay, and you're sure to find any colour.

He already bought what he needed but as an FYI for the furture Summit Racing carriers nearly every VHT product. I'm sure they have it. They have a huge rack of VHT hi-temp there.
