Figured I'd do a write up on the technique I came up with for graphically analyzing non-linkage rear suspension setups to figure out the effective spring rate at various points in travel. Will basically be a step-by-step walk trough on how to to do something like I did in this picture, and the info it gives.



Its way past my bedtime now, so write up will have to wait for tomorrow night. Meantime, since I'm gonna have to re-do a lot of this, maybe somebody else could submit a picture of a bike with non-link rear suspension, that they'd like to get an idea of the behavior of?
