Hey guys, just thought I would give you a little background on my bike. When I bought the bike, it looked like this:


then I got it up on wheels, and started to check out the rear end damage:

Then straightened the tail out:


Then, this was my first mock up:


and then this was my first look for the bike:

It was a rattle can paint job, because I do not have much money, as none of us do.

And then about a year ago, I got the new paint job:



I finished the single swinger a couple of months ago, and we come to the pic you have all seen:


Here are the details of my bike:

Peugeot scooter fairing modified to a dual projector beam headlight.
Stainless Steel brake lines
'04 GSXR 750 windscreen cut to fit the scooter fairing.
Chrome Stator cover
Chrome Clutch cover
VFR 800 Swingarm
Custom Pivot bolt, Bushings, and Shock linkage.
Scorpion TI high mount exhaust.
LED turnsignals
Anodized green bolts
Freestyle ingenuity handlebar risers
Renthal Supersport Bars
Pyramid seat cowl
CRG Bar End Mirrors
RK 530 Gold Chain

I believe that is it, but I am sure I forgot some things.

great work hybrid! bikes come a long way from the starting point.


do you have more detail pics of the swingarm swap and info about how it went??

inquiring minds want to know!

Nice bike, is'nt the single side conversion easy with a VFR swingarm on the CBR? It is such a cool mod! Copper is a great color too.

no, it is not a straight swap, had to machine the swinger, a new pivot bolt, new bushings, and shock linkage. but I do not have pics of what I did, when I take it apart again, I will take pics of everything I had to make.

Copper Axe

It is easy with a VFR 750 to a CBR900, it is not so simple with a VFR800 to a CBR929.
