ya, I cant wait...it will be the first time I've had a proper suspension on this bike...the stock stuff on the z1000 is too soft and has just about no adjustments. I swapped to 636 forks and rear shock, that did make an improvement but it still wasnt right. The forks I got were not set up right...too heavy weight oil or soemthing, it was like a brick...with the settings turned all the way out it was still way too hard...i got it to skip/bounce in a hard corner..not fun. And as I found out, while the 636 shock "fits" the it is 5mm shorter then the z1000. It's going to be like a new bike!

Blew out both my fork seals (and put my plastics back on temporarily - I need gauges!)

:LolLolLolLol: I know right...but it wont look too much different.....and ya, you dont want to know hahaha...but the annodizing is going to be $100 becuase he is swamped...he said I can do it for $100 now but i may have to get $150+ if you wait until I am slow...

last night mshap and I started the flywheel swap, figured out my puller is too small so we installed the rear SS and HH pads....

borrowing a puller tonight from the suspension guy :bigred:

last night I 3/4's mounted my bellypan i wanted to get it totally mounted and my shock res. mounted but ran out of time...

tonight - finish those 2 things and start to reassemble...then prep the bellypan for paint

last night did some grinding on my drag fighter, and got my chopper frame back to the house so I can finally finish it.

wont get to do anything this weekend (my weekend with my daughter so no garage time) but starting next week...........

Mounted the 929 tail on the Gixxer and got her running again. Plan on taking her to the mountains this weekend. Also played with the suspension to take out some of the high speed wobble. Front end still not settling with the 750 front end on the 600 chassis. Might have to drop the front end some more. I'll get some pics up tommorrow.

Dented my gas tank, got the carbon fiber cap cover on, figured out how to do my exhaust, lengthened my starter wire and set the battery up in the tail, ran the wires for the ignition coils so on so forth, master linked the chain, and bled my front brakes
