hi! after my first post in noob section a year or so, the project stop for a long time (lack of time, new job) but for the past few week i am back on it and realise i miss having something to work on. so i wanted to give you guy's an little update

sanding the suspension i had left some of the old black paint and clear coat it, it was a test at first but now i kinda like the ruff/used look

new battery! the nice little ballistic evoII the most expensive mod ive put on the bike (budget built;P) but godbless the size/weight of this thing

now i need you guy's i really have no idea how to paint the tank.. i want something slick, nothing too flashy/cheap. i've made some test but im not convince

added some lines and dots to make like if it is riveted.. to make like an old fighter plane

thats pretty much it. still lots of work to do! any comments/suggestions are more than welcome!

yeah it was running good since its my first build i wanted something clean. the odo show 45000 km but the bike is a 83 i suspect it as reset 1 or 2 time :p

This one of my all time favorite vintage bikes. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Same here. The first time I ever saw a "sportbike" it was one of these. I never got over it. I'd love to own a stock example one day.

I absolutely love the stock paint on these bikes, but I'm really digging the riveted look. Sub'd.

Nice looking but those were notorious for eating cams because the oiling to the head comes off the back of the trany. Look around on the net about an easy fix by taping into the main oil passage on the bottom of right side of the cases.
