Also got some parts that might help.

Ordered 2 of these. Part from a mini steam engine. Will at least need the OD and length cut down. Not sure if the M5 threads are deep enough. Bad news is they're nickel plated.

Also ordered a few of these. M5 x 8mm OD. Could work as a spacer. Will give more support with M5 threads, as opposed to using a 5mm tube spacer.

I appreciate the idea.
Unfortunately, I would have to spend thousands of dollars for a welder, and build a bigger garage. Garage is totally full, no room for a welder. Have 2 bike projects in my tiny house, already.
If I'd be from your area, or at least from US, I'd try to make one for you. Dont you have a friend with a welder?

Since I'm using the eye bolt hardware on the front reservoir, I'd like to use it other places on the bike.

Been gathering parts to wire up the bike, and looking at where to mount them. Decided to mount the coil and make a throttle cable holder using eye bolt hardware.

Will be something like this, but there won't be exposed threads. Don't have the actual hardware, yet. Will take a while to get the tubing from Hong Kong.

I've ordered a bunch of Pro-Bolt titanium and aluminum hardware for these, and for the CDI box, M-Unit, R/R, and 2 more electrical panels.

Well, unfortunately I lost a couple of small parts from the OEM Ducati headlight.

It has small wire clips that connect together and hold the headlight in the metal ring that fits onto the bucket. I think there's twelve and I lost one or two. Also lost a small metal clip that captures the one screw that holds on the metal ring.

Had to suck it up and buy another headlight. Can't buy the individual parts I need. Found a nice one in Japan.

Received the package and the headlight was beautifully wrapped like a Christmas present in 4 layers of bubble wrap.

Under that was a carefully shaped piece of cardboard covering the headlight lens. Between the cardboard and the lens was another 4 sheets of bubble wrap.

The headlight is immaculate. Not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. I'm not used to this kind of quality service. I'm extremely impressed. In the box, there was an envelope with a moto sticker and treats. They also sent me a message saying how they will work hard in the future to make my next purchase even better.

Was seriously looking into moving to Japan for a while, but COVID killed that dream.

Can't do any more until the 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm ID spacer tubing arrives.

Need to cut all the bolts and eyebolts, 11 spacers, and 4 washers.

Should be interesting.

Tubing arrived from Hong Kong for the coil brackets.

Pulled the same coil from another project so I could make a square setup. With this setup I can measure the lengths for the (4) 5mm ID tubes, and the M5 bolts.

Drilled out the front brake reservoir M6 threads and tapped for M8 with bottoming taps.

Inserted an M8 to M5 reducer. Will Loktite it on final assembly.

Started with an 8mm threaded spacer. Already cut it down to less than 3mm. Still to large. Will probably need to go to 2mm. Very hard to handle the tiny part.

Yellow coil mounting position didn't have enough clearance to the fuel tank. Maybe 1-2mm. Moving on to the blue location.

Was going to make a flat electrical panel for the M-Unit and CDI box, but I think a 3D panel will be better. Got a Christmas Eve delivery of carbon fiber angle.

Got started on designing a polished aluminum radiator overflow/recovery tank.

Just the first try. Needs some adjustments.

Will fill the OEM tank to the MAX level, then pour the water into a baggie. Can use that to check the fluid volume on the new tank design. Will also fill the OEM tank to the top to check the overflow volume on the new design.

Will try to make the tank the same size as 2 of the triangle openings in the lattice. The tank will attach to the carbon fiber panel with 2 threaded bungs, and hopefully, the filler neck and cap will protrude up through the panel, as well.

Forgot to post pics of the throttle cable holder.

Trying to put the throttle cable holder in-line with the coil and have the throttle cable run through the middle, between the spark plug cables.

Throttle cable holder was designed to fit over the single to double cable adapter.

The old water in the baggie trick.👍
Works well to determine total volume, and minimum and maximum fluid levels.

Tried several different shapes and sizes for the coolant recovery tank. The limited space makes it impossible to do what I want.

For now, the best option is to go with this size and shape. Will need to cut down one corner and weld in a triangle, to make clearance for the radiator hose.

The overflow hose fitting is another problem. More on that, later.

Trying to design a sight window. Wanted to center a window in one triangle opening in the frame, but the window was too small.

Working on a full-size window. Trying to design the corner radii, and clearance for the o-ring and bolts. Hope things work out okay.
