at first I was all :rock: but then it dies as soon as I give it gas... (if I crack the throttle at all it immediately dies)

-the muffler isnt back on it yet

-I removed the ram air and the forward pointing carb vents

-I may have accidentally screwed with that throttle adjustment screw (the little black one that sticks out the back and can be adjusted by hand)

I dont think the muffler matters, that will just make it run like crap, yes? dont think the ram air would matter in my garage either. help please, I'm

dying under throttle would be not enough gas I thought, to much air not enough gas=stall

Back the screw in till it stops and then turn it back out 1 1/2 turns. try running it again. worst case, if it's been sitting around a while, it may need to be cleaned.

thanks ALOT guys. that bit of guidance was just what I needed. 95% sure I have a pinched vent line, couldnt think at the end of a long bike day, always the simple stuff huh?

If it is a pinched vent tube, open up the gas cap and try running it, it wont form a vacuum to prevent the fuel from flowing. (tip from skrooz)

thanks 762. thats actually what I did to diagnose(I ALWAYS listen to what skrooz has to say) which is why I think I have a pinched vent. now I gotta make sure thats actually it....
