shamed myself into it, went and fitted the shorty lever, no need for a fold up one, bark busters should protect it . A bit of figuring out how to remove the lever from the span adjuster, but simple enough once figured out . I'll use the die grinder to make a little pocket in the plastic on front of the ball end of the lever, just for a few mm extra space

have a plan for the idiot lights too

so back to more pressing matters,

i chopped up the high level muddie, chopped up a fibreglass moulding of the Hyper's front hugger thing and i'll see if I can make one from two

also drawn up the new speedo pod, just waiting for a chance to machine it

rear part bolted on , front part trimmed, piece of mesh cut . I'll bond the mesh to the kevlar tomorrow, then its wrapping the wheel up and getting the resin out

mesh is bonded to the front part of the guard, the working plan is to keep the kevlar shiny and the centre / back section to be flat black

(note: all plans are subject to change at a moments notice)

sorted the engraving on the pod and fitted the led's, then set about making the muddie look a bit more presentable ...... it will prob end up as a buck for a mould for a full new guard

finally bit the bullet and chopped the end off the muddie, much as I liked it, I reluctantly have to admit it's better without . Extended the mounting points too, no need to stretch it to fit.

that's it smoothed and coated in resin, next step, make a mould
