My father has a 2004 KZ1000 Police with 54K miles, that he does not ride anymore and he is thinking of selling it...

I have a complete GSXR1000 front end and a complete SV650 rear end... I was thinking of selling those parts...

Or, I cold make a 1000cc Cafe Racer with modern suspension and brakes...

I think such a big bike may just look funny with small 120/70 front and 160/60 tires...

What do you guys think?

Here's my '78 Kz1000 with those exact same tire sizes. Doesn't look goofy at all, but I'm slightly biased.

Later, Doug

Whut Doug sed... I think it looks good.

How much is he wanting for it?

Truthfully, I would leave the rear, but rebuild it. Throw the new front on and rock it. If the wheels are different sizes, throw the SV wheel on it, but I like the dual shock rear. Shit looks tight.

We changed the fork oil and installed ZRX1200R KYB Adjustable rear shocks...

I would go with a single seat, a small cafe bubble tail no longer than the rear axle...

This bike it's just heavy as a pig... All steel... I am not sure how well would it handle...

My father was hoping to get $1,400.00

If you don't LOVE the bike, leave it alone. It is really heavy and you'll spend a truckload of money converting it to a café bike. Money that you will never get a return on.

My 2 cents is strip all the unnecessary crap off of it. Upgrade the shocks and fork springs and ride the piss out of it.
