Well I did a bunch of little jobs on the bike this week, replacing fork seals, finishing the RAM intakes, painting the frame and a few other bits, and adjusted the suspension; so Saterday was a "Ride" day. Heres pics.

I'm starting to like the black on black look, but I still want to get away from the batman comments. So come next month I think I'll go with the new color.

Enjoy

New rule: No one can post pics of rides until all the buildoff bikes are done so we can ride also. J/K

Looks good. Where in PA are you? Around Philly at all?

I ended up using Duplicolor Flat Black because PJ1 was too prooving a PITA to track down and I was impatient. I don't have a shop to tear the whole bike down in so it was a very tedious process of taping everything off after the bodywork was off.

About the tail, ya, I know thats where the batman reference comes from, but I'm thinking if I at least change the color it would take it at least one step away from that look. The comments don't bug me enough to make me want to change the tail though, I love it.

Oh, and its not a buildoff bike so I can post however many pics I want:fire:

thats great, really good, I can see ppl buying those up. You should get involved with a distributor so you make em as they get orders, that way it's not like you're making 50 tails at a time. Do you have any pics posted on each step, I think you had a thread somewhere, no?

I did the nose and tail myself out of fiberglass. No mail order crap here.
You did a great job building it yourself but you should consider laying off the "mail order crap" comments. Just because it's "mail order" or has been done before doesn't mean it's crap. In some cases, a mail order piece will look and fit much better than anything else since all the hard work has already been done. I see more do it yourself fighters that look like shit, than I do mail order kit fighters.

You got a nice fighter, you shouldn't insult others based purely on how much building was involved. Fighters are cool and we're all into something different, that's all that matters. Just my .2

Bike looks tight. I may have to come over this season and hit you guys up for a ride..those roads look sick. :knucks:
I'm only 30 minutes from you. We could both take a ride over that way and hit some of those roads!
