After baking in the oven for 10 min to be able to take apart the brake light fixture.

these are the red triangle blinkers that were on my license plate, took plastic off of it and glued it on. Lights were 5 bucks.

drilled holes in the side where the bulbs twist in for the brake lights.

Put back together and a look from the bottom

looks awsome, I've been think of using those arrow signals on my mirrors, but always had other stuff to do. How visible are they? You have any shots of the signals on?

there is a video link for youtube that shows it on at the bottom of the pics, all I have left to do is to put a resistor to slow down the blink.

I personally like the faster blink.. but good job! You can also do this with LED strips if you can't get the arrows to fit.

interesting. i was installing an led integrated blinker light on a 04 1000RR today.

guess ill have to take some pics.

I am not at the stage to swap the tail yet (poor). So this is my ghetto led brake light for a 15 dollar clearance walmart special.

I'm with Haelo on the fast blinking. When I first turned on the 636 signals I had, I was ike wtf? but then I just thought it made it that much more visible.

I wouldnt trust something like that to signal people, its barely noticeable. To me as a rider I would probably see it while driving but to a non riding person, they would probably plow you then say you didnt use a signal

Does that light run as a brake light AND running light or just one or the other? ive looked at a few and Ive only seen them where they do one or the other

I don't trust cars, and often use hand signals too. It is a running light and brake light. The signals are noticeable, specially at night.

i dont use blinkers. or hand signals. i just go. and assume that every car on the road is trying to hit me.

blinkers are strictly for legal purposes cuz most cagers are too thick to realize what they are, let alone notice them.
