doin' it.. the cbr is on the block... bought from a buddy a couple years ago after he decided to dump the clutch on the limiter.. and it sat for a good few years..

its an '04 1000 w/ 15K ish miles
geared -1/+7 he said it effortlessly just hung the front wheel out 1st through 4th..
tuned on a power commander already
it had an akra on it.. but that was his 12'oclock bar so thats a bit bent
came with all the spare parts, new sub frame, new fork, front wheel, etc etc
pretty much ready to go..

doing the mass exodus today, so we'll see what's what in a bit

i bought a yoshi rs-5 for it already but it weight a metric fuck ton.. and has all steel internals.. so might rob the internals of the akra and shock in it and use the ti akra midpipe too
might steal the light off the gsxr put something nicer on that
needs new brake/clutch lines for a set of bars and a riser..
also want to get rid or the stock coolant lines.. cuz they are ugly..
some painting blah blah

thinking of doing a more touring style.. so wanting to keep it low dollar.. keep the stock seat fab up a QR pannier rack or somthing..

this air box is madness... like 5 differnt parts to it to get it mostly out.. its still not all the way out..

took the PAIR off, ill make some plates today or tomorrow.. slap em on, need top grab some of that fabric AN line for the rad.. should work no?

also the rad took a bit of a hit.. but the are pretty cheap on ebay.. only choice is polished welded aluminum or oem style black..

thinking of routing the line in beside the TB's and out the front and have a T in there to a filler neck to where the PAIR valve sits stock.. pretty tight but should be ok.. maybe wrap it up in dei stuff to keep it cool.

I have a ‘03 600RR for some work now and performed an engine swap on an ‘08/09 a while ago. The airbox is something else for sure. At least if you wanted to swap tails, all the electronics are mounted under the tank cover on the box.

Those 1kRR's are a cluster fuck under there!!! So much crap to hide! GL.
Any chance you can just cut down the Akra to remove the bend??

as soon as this damn heatwave ends i can start doin shit again.. 90-100+ is too hot.. not sure how you people almost anywhere else deals with heat lol
