I just spotted these 99-01 USD R1 forks with an FZR stem pressed into the lower tripple already for pretty much dirt cheap..

Upper and lower tripple with an FZR stem already pressed in, with the forks for around $170 shipped. No wheel, axle, spacers, rim, or fender. Just the forks and tripples. I know they will fit, he's got pix of them on his race bike

Sorry it took so long to get back to ya, but yeah, I'd be interested, for sure. I was thinking of re-springing my forks soon, but that sounds like a better project...:rock:

Well he sold that set (for 200+ shipping) but had another set he almost agreed to sell me. Decided to keep those forks though but.....Looks like he will sell me the clamps and stem modded to fit the fizzer so I'll just have to get the forks, wheel, axle, brakes and such seperately. It would have been a season long project putting the front end together anyway.

What size fork tubes are on that model R1 so I know what size mouning clamps I need for my headlights?

They are 98-01. I got a couple buddies that ride the bigger Yammie, I'm sure I'll find out pretty easy.

Nevermind, Aztec 8 has the R1 listed at 50mm.
