well, I'm building my 87 fz-700 right now, but it should be done by may. SSOOOO

I'm lookin onto a long term project. I'm tryin to do something a bit different

I may have a line on an old CB that I may be able to get for next to nothing

so I was thinkin about alll the crazy mods I could do to it over a year or two. no hurry, just crazy and individual mods done right. I want to keep the frame (with some chopping and bracing) and the tank but after that nothing is sacred.

so far I'm thinking that a CBR motor would be cool. then a monoshock rear and USD front. in custom billet tripples

for wheels I'm really leanin towards spoked with a custom single sided swinger.... on the right side, not the left like the vfr's

tell me what you guys think. ideas? I'm open to just about anything

I think those are all good ideas. Good thing you are going to take your time though....you are going to have lots of obstacles to over come. But that's what it's all about. Go for it!

well, if I get a cb 400, then I'll go with a cbr 600 motor

if I find a cb750 then I'll try and find an thou or 900 motor for it.

yeah, and I'm a member over at the underground. mosly a lurker, but atleast a member.

thats about the idea haelo.

only I want it to be a bit different.

take something not normally associated with fighters and sportbikes and make it both, but in a bastardized fasion.

Melbourne/Palm Bay area.
Wheels, brakes, lights, plastics, frame, engine, transmission are all good. Needs chains/sprockets, wiring, and a carb clean to get it to run. May need a stator but... well, all GSes do. Besides, $200 for a clean title :D
