Looking for oil cooler copper gaskets

885 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  jed.only
So I'm gonna change the oil on my b12 today but recently the copper gaskets on the lower oil cooler lines started leaking and I'm not sure where to even look for them and I don't don't want to get it spray and just put the old ones back on and I don't want to have to order them... Doors anybody know a good place I could pick these up that would likely have them in stock thanx

FYI they are 16mm ID copper crush washers. Could try a BMW dealership too, they have 16mm ID aluminum crush washers for drain plugs and they can work for your application. ;)

Harbor Freight has cases of sealing washers for cheap. Mixed sizes. Might have the ones you need.

Not sure if they're the right size for you, but Subaru dealerships stock a fuckton of crush washers since they all have them on the oil drain bolts. On the Vmax they happened to perfectly fit the oil galley plugs and I've heard that to be true for some other Japanese bikes also.
