People are dumb..........I deal with it every time I sell a "salvage" or "rebuilt" bike:nuts:

if it wasnt for where i live man id buy that thing in a heart beat,and if you say its straight they id beleive you

its like when people see a bike with 20 000km on it they asume its allmost dead

thats actually how i get alot of the deals i get. alot of the sellers think the same thing. i buy alot of wrecked and blown up bikes and put very little money in them, ride em for a while, get bored, sell em, and move on to the next project. the only reason i'm even considering selling the 954 is b/c i'm buying a car in a few weeks (98 dodge intrepid, yuck, but for $500, i'm not arguing) and i can use the money from the 954 to build something else to play with. i just can't seem to hang on to bikes very long before i feel the need for something new. i'm not exactly advertising the 954, but if it comes up in conversation, i mention it. i know it'll turn out like every other bike i've ever owned, i'll shoot myself later for selling it.
