How did you connect the rods to the block?
I don't know about this particular one, but most of the ones I've seen drill and tap another hole, usually reuse one of the head bolt holes and bolt em on. I've seen one that was TIGGED but I like the idea of them being removable for some reason.

When I was in art school I did one with a motorcycle engine. Stripped out all the steel, washed it, bolted it back up but with a piece of 1 inch lexan replacing the head.
Lol u went to art school!

Damn strait, 3 semesters before I figured there was no real point (can't draw for shit). Is where I first learned to weld. You can't build shit that ugly without proper edmacation in the forms of modern art.

I drilled the rod bolt hole bigger and put bolts into the deadbolt hole. Also had to cut the skirt on the piston to get them to lay flat.
