Sure am. I don't have any fancy plugs so I'm just using foil to plug the ends. Had to drill out some aluminum bar to feed the gas in since just shoving a plastic hose in turned out to be a bad idea. Who knew it got so damn hot while welding. 😟
Same OD (2") but I went with .028 wall for the straights and .035 for the pie cut bends. .028 is hard for me to weld with my minimal skills. But....max weight savings!!!!!!
I really didn't think Ti was that much lighter. I'm impressed.
Your welding is fine, man. You'll keep improving. By the time you're done with the last piece of the exhaust you'll be ready to redo the first piece. Let the never ending circle begin!
