LC4's are fine for reliability.

That guy apparently doesn't know what he has because that is a Duke I not a Duke II but either way it is overpriced. I paid more than a grand less for my Duke II.

so far I've only heard that after a long hard ride, you should manually reset the automatic cam chain adjuster, or else it will cool in a taut position, then break and destroy some damper on the water pump.
I haven't had any issue with mine in the few years ive owned it. the biggest pain is that 2500 duke 620's were made worldwide, so if something breaks, that's it. a duke II tach should work in the duke I, but it won't say "beats per minute" (it says "rpm").
ktm no longer supports the suspension on the duke I either. hah.
