Need I say more? This is Hoppers race, wouldn't it be awesome for the young fella to get his first podium along with his first win (and Suzukis in Christ knows how long) tonight?

Looks like the Bridgestones are finally up to the task, as is the bike.

Ummm, the man's riding with a broken wrist (which reports say is deteriorating), is 4 seconds off the pace and dead last on the grid. If he wins this, I'll never say a bad word against him again.

However, early indications are that he's fucked.

Actually, as it turns out, he didn't break it totally, BUT he has a small fracture on his wrist, AND on his ankle!!! He as only able to ride with the use of painkillers..... so I don't know if he's gonna be pulling out any miracles this time!

I've had a few of those bastards myself, and Jesus does it hurt when they inject ya! Straight into the joint.

I'm pretty sure the pain killers they administer are non halucinagenic. Bugger it.

So, Edwards eh?! The poor bastard, I felt for that man. By his own admission in the press conference, it was his fuck up, plain and simple.

I can't help thinkg though, that if he rode every lap of his career like the final two of that race, he'd be world champ and virtually untouchable. He looked like the Colin Edwards III of old back in his final Super bike days. Hungry and angry, stunning riding.

So what do you reckon this guy's got to do to finnaly win a GP?

(Obviously, I'm a diehard Edwards fan, as I was a Scott Russel fan and a Kevin Schwantz fan)

I am TOTALLY with you on this one! Those last laps were some of the best riding I've seen in a long time, he was a man on a mission, and nothing was getting in his way. If he did that regularly, he'd be unstoppable!

I reckon that race will be the start of something new for Edwards, think we can expect to see him at the pointy end of the field alot more for the remainder of the season.

Now Suzuki just have to make their bikes kinder to the tyres. They were looking strong for the first bit there with Vermuelen even getting up in 5th. But isn't it good to see all the manufacturers (even KR) up there in the running?

something like that.. i dont know if the public can get them.. i know at one point the nfl had some shit that you could play a game on a broken ankle, or ribs, or wrist... the shots would make it so you couldnt feel any pain..

the down fall to them is that the shots made your body stop produceing red blood cells
