so chrissy, i was riding a normal sportbike again...and my back started to hurt by the end of the day as it normally does.

so i was thinking about you :D i know you can do heated gear. i have heated seats in my car, and i love it! so i was wondering if i got like a spine/back protector, and you wired it up, would this be like having a heating pad on my back??

my back is fucked up and hurts a lot, and heat usually makes it feel better or loosen up.

^another reason why i love my streetfighter. more betterer stance!

she could definately do that...I love the stuff i have...

she wired my $25 joe rocket waterproof gloves I got from new enough.com and the liner of my columbia jacket...we rode on xmas eve last year and I was sweating...

After teh wedding I want to get a perf'd leather jacket and have her do the liner...can't wait.

so it'll be like nice even heating all the way up my spine and across my lower back??

is the heat level adjustable or just one temp?

you should get coverage from the front...your back will sweat and your front will freeze....imo the best thing to do would be to give her the liner of your jacket and have her do that(or go buy a thin vest with a tiny bit of insulation) and when you wear your BP it will push the heated elements closer to your back wear you want it.

Pretty sure that cost would be about the same for either and you may as well get that..you wont be sorry if you ride year round...you could also have her wire them for gloves if you ever wanted to heat a set.

Sometimes a jacket is enough without the heat but your hands still get cold...she has this y-wire thing that you can use and just use the gloves..well so i hear..i do nto have one yet..:bigred:

i dont really plan on riding this winter. i dont usually go out under 50 degrees. but when its cooler out, below 60, my back will hurt worse.

its not really a concern of being cold, more that my back is fucked up and a heating pad often makes it not hurt as much. so therefore having a heated spine pad would eliminate or at least dampen the annoying back pain i get on cool fall days.

right..but think you would still want your core warm..dunno...if you do get it you'll find your riding season extends...for me cool weather riding is like playing football in the fall..the chrisp air...i like it
