Congratulations on completing such a mammoth project and getting it all official.
A couple of questions....How does it go ? and if you were to do it again would you do anything different, not to trying to highlight any trial an error type occurrences of course.
and some more, have you ever located a ECU under a petrol tank, what about relocating one from the front to the back of bike.
on the CB1300 build i moved the ECU to under the back of the tail, this build has it under the tank, the M unit has to be a distance from the HT leads because of interference
it makes pretty much the same power as a stocker, I've still only ridden it across a car park, waiting for my reg number
things to do diff, I wouldn't try to fit it around a standard airbox, make the frame a little narrower , letting the tank be smaller. I wouldn't make another full glass tank, it'd either be a fuel cell and cover like I'm ending up with , or try an alloy tank , perhaps have the tail a smidge higher and a little more tyre to tail clearance
I like that even after you finished this bike, it is still evolving and being personalised and even crash tested to see how your welds held up....... awesome build, awesome bike
If you haven’t finished the rear disc,
maybe you could BFT the holes or maybe your dads name or both or neither.
