well, first i wanna say sorry for my bad english...

i've been wanting to try a V2 bigbike for couple of years, and around 6 months ago i got this '98 TL1000S

first impression; what a scary bike
it's really hard to handle, it keep trying to pull to the other way, especially when the road is a little bit bumpy, but i like how the power flow
i gave it a new front tire, revert the front and rear suspension setting to suzuki's standard and so far i haven't feel that problem again...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so, this past few months i've been collecting some parts, what i have so far:

and this week i finally started to stripped it, the tank, tail, and front fender was already send to the paint shop few days ago, this is how it currently sits:

i still have no idea on what to do for the headlamp and handlebar...

bought a fatbar few days ago, i installed it today, it looked quiet good, i hope it didn't hit the tank when i turn the handlebar...
i also test fit "half" dominator headlamp that i have, using kawasaki kr150 headlamp bracket mounted to the frame, but...

the forks hit the bracket when it turn + i think it's too small...

nice. love the new color. u keeping the frame silver?
yes, gonna keep it silver for now.
awesome bike, cool looking build! Can't wait to see how this one comes together... I've always liked the TL's.
thanks, same, it put me on a dilemma for a while, since i liked the way it look on stock condition, but i also liked seeing the frame when it was naked...
