well Ive bought a monster, they guy who owns it is a friend of mine, he hasnt done anything to the bike in five years, he went to colledge etc, but hes got 7 thousand bucks into a GSXR1100 motor totaly renewed, the only thing is its in a KANATUNA 750, its radicaly modified chassis, anyhow ill get some pictures of it tonight, and a list of all the specs, he has a dyno printout of 160hp, and I picked it up for cheap.

SO he has all the reciepts for all the parts
the engine was rebuilt profesionaly 3500 kilometers ago by a guy who is well known for his work here in Canada
has a full NOS kit and spares
1109 big bore
all kinds a goods with the crank, rods, Mukuni flatslides etc...
160+ dyno report on the gas
135 dyno without

3 or for plastic storage containers or spares

I say im gonna find my self a slabby frame and tank huh,

lighten up the kat frame. I think mine is around 360-390 now. Cutting off all that shitty steel subframe and steel swingarm and those wheels dropped alot of weight

I'm not the one for plastics, but I'd just leave them on so ppl know it's a katana. When you blow the barends off of ppls bikes and ask what did you do, just tell them you just got it back from a tune up.

if you look at the pictures you will see hes even had the rear wheel widened, for a 180 tire,
lots of parts have been upgraded cause the stock stuff couldnt take the power, for exaple the stock plates on the axel adjusters,, cause he would bend the stock ones, this is definately a real sleeper, but i think im gonna break the katana, and build some kind of GSXR framed beast, maybe slab side, with modern wheels and brakes

yeah I dont think Im gonna go upside down front end either, I think Im gonna go with 5 spoke CBR wheels, with a real simple looking unbraced swinging arm, im going to allso go with the same idea as my gixer 7/1k with the water jet subframe rails...not to sure on the body kit yet, but definately minamalistic.

Cool some times things just come in to place Ive sourced localy at a mates bike breakers a 750 slab side tank and frame, I took the vin number down to the registries and its was a local bike and is active in the system, the the thing is registerable, no problem, and the nice part is all the katana stuff should bolt on, and its only 200 canadian for the frame and tank.
