ok well many of you probably forgot about my first build that ended in a scraped up peice of metal. well im back and im starting on a new build. another v-twin 1000! well here we are.

i just bought this as is for 1900.

ive come up with a seat idea already....

also im getting a new acerbis headlight and handguards with intergrated turn signals. we will see how they look. got some ducati style bar end mirrors on the way, and a few more ideas developing.

Looks like you have a nice project on your plate. Are you going to put a tail on it or just a seat? Well looking back at your sketch it looks like a small tail. Keep us posted.

Wellllll actually I'm gonna try and make it so I can have 2 seperate subframes. A one seater and a 2 seater. The girlfriend wants to ride on it lol. So I'm gonna try and make it so I can switch them out with ony maybe 15 minutes of work to do. Don't know how but ill try. As for my fighter seat, it will have a small cowl I guess.

The acerbis headlights are really poor for light output and a bit of a joke around here, if you haven't spent yet have a look around for othe options!

I like barend mirrors, are they going to fit ok with handguards?

Also, i saw you were asking about fitting dirty bars. It's been covered loads.

You just drill your top yoke, reinforce and bolt some risers on.

so yesterday i rode about 150 miles to tulsa from okc and just got back today. kind of a test run, and it went great. did alittle under 400 miles in the past 2 days.

ok well i bought a complete 1998 gsxr 600 subframe except for the rear seat. i caved in on my girlfriend. she was nagging about not being able to ride. anyways someone told me to get a gsxr600k2/3 subframe. i hope i got the right one. if not, anyopne wanna buy a 1998 gsxr600 subframe? lol. anyways would someone please let me know if its the right one....and if it is, i was thinking about trying to extend the lower linkage on the subframe alittle so that it is pointed more upward. is that a good idea? can it be done?

ok well heres my latest idea for a fighter styled 2 seater tail....its a rough draft seeing how it is 4am here and im tired as hell, but i thought of the idea and just had to put it down. let me know what you think.

um... not to be a douche but the part you wrapped isnt gonna do anything, the whole purpose of heat wrap is to keep the heat inside the exhaust untill its out the exit wherever it may be, and you left the hottest part uncovered.

i like the tail ideas you are drawing up, if i was closer id help fab one up for you. good luck with the build, i love my tlr

ok well heres my new crappy subframe idea. guys gonna fab it for me tomorrow. bought all the steel and everything today.

its gonna have a passenger seat so we shall see how well he does the new subframe. hope he is good lol. ill be dropping off my bike tomorrow and it should be done on wed. ill post pics of it when its done.
