Well I actually had a dream the other night "yes while I was sleeping" about how to hook up a handbrake without a master cylinder up top on the bars.
I guess you know your good when you start fabing shit up in your sleep.. lol
Anyways I thought about hooking up an extended clutch cable from a second clutch perch up top all the way to a small mount connected to the rear brake master cylinder or lever..
So I got to thinkin today "Hell why not give it a shot". So I go to where my bike is stored and yank the seat, gas tank and a couple other little things to get shit out of the way and thought.. If I just make a small bracket that could mount ON the threaded rod between the rear brake lever and the master itself.. I can just hook the other end of the cable there and be set..
Dont you know sure as shit I ended up remembering that I had a brand new extended R6 clutch cable in my truck from my LSL kit that I ever used?!?! I couldnt use it for my clutch because it was way too long.. So I mount a second clutch pirch, run the line, and dont you fucking know... the god damn cable stopped right at the rear brake master right where it hooks to the rear brake lever lol.
I know I know
:ttiwwop:
Since my battery was dead in the camera Ill tank a couple pix tommorow. I still gotta make a couple mounts and swap some wiring over to the right side since I had to take off the cluster that hold the turn switch, horn, and high/low beam switch. The funny thing is, is that the clutchers for the right and left side are a mirror image of each other. Im just gonna move my start button and kill switch to the dash and be set.
No loss, just gained a hand brake for free!
