So I bought a somewhat trashed 2007 zzr600. It runs great just looks really bad. So I have decided to make it into a street fighter instead. Has anyone done this to this bike? A parts list would be amazing. I know very little about motorcycles so any ideas would be a great help.

We don't give a parts list of what you should do to your bike.

The best advice I can give is to go through these:
http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57104
http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9783
http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11290

and find what mods that you like the look of and save a couple pictures in an inspiration photo.

Then do a search through the member project bikes:

http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56082&highlight=zzr600&p=1126837

save some of those photos that you like and then come back and ask about the specific modification you are looking at with an idea of where to start.

Other than that,

Stay a while and post up your own build thread.

An 07 zzr600 is virtually identical to a 2000-2002 ZX6R (the last generation before they became the 636 in 2003).

I think the only difference was a slight change to the front fairing and maybe the seat/tail cowl. Engine, frame, the suspension might have been set a little softer but I'm pretty sure it's the same hardware. Strip off all the fairings and it's the exact same bike. There's tons of fightered ZXs out there for ideas.

I agree with Casper post up some pics! :LolLolLolLol:

You've picked up a good bike to work on. I'm also working on a 2002 ZX-6R which is pretty much the same bike like razed said. (The only difference between the 2 is the ZZR has a different fairing stay, no "birdcage" as it has been dubbed)

As for swapping parts there is so much you can do to these bikes. Parts can be easily swapped including different tails, swingarms, exhausts, forks, and wheels. (As long as you have money to spend on them)

Check out my build thread. I'm swapping over an 09 6R tail. If you got any questions let me know I'm on here regularly.
