I cannot for the life of me tell if it is a stock option or not, but I saw the sickest digital Speedo on a 2006 Ninja today...has anyone seen these or know who makes them?

I should've taken a picture...

here's the lowdown on it...

Shape: Round
Color: Black

That looks cool but why bother with a speedo?

I mean, does anyone pay attention to theirs other than bragging rights of high speed? Fuck the cops - I hate em - go as fast as you can or dare and live a little.

Also change the gearing and the Speedo is null and void uless you can re-program it to your new gearing ratio.

Yes, but when your job depends on you having a clean license, you should behave when applicable. And, if you have a speedo that's out, sometimes, if you can prove the speedometer was faulty, you can have the ticket kyboshed. Speedohealers are great!

if you know how to do some wiring....anything is possible.

i would say you'd have to get wiring diagrams for each bike. then cut the wires from the speedo (leaving the connector on the speedo) then cut your wiring harness just below the connector for the speedo. label each wire, on each set, then start connecting them bitches up!

if you do it, I'm sure a picture tutorial would be helpful to anyone wanting to do this in the future... so.... if you have a camera and feel helpful... I'm sure we could get you a free decal! :cfcartman:

Is this the kinda thing you was thinking of cos i wanna update/declutter my cockpit and it's a close call between the Vapor unit and the Acewell, both are really cool but the acewell is doing it for me just cos the different configurations availible and the price.
