Just wanted to say whats up to one of the better forums i have found in a long time. Good to see theres atleast some people on the internet that turn every comment on motorcycles into a brand flame war.

Well, im from texas, the flat no twisties part of texas, unfortunetly, and i ride an f3 (new to me, not new by any means - its a 96), and ive been stripping it down and getting it better running for awhile now while i try to figure out what i want to do to make it a fighter. Think im getting some new headlights next week and probabaly some sort of tail modifications after that. First bike ive owned, but a few thousand miles on the street and a few hundred hours of dirtbikes before that.

so in your opinion what looks best doen to an f3, im thinking shorte tail and subframe, twin circular headlights (around 3.5 inch diameter), acewell single gauge pod, and possibly fat dirty bars

give me some ideas if you would, im trying to brainstorm for the next thing i change

and by the way this site single handly convinced me to fighter my bike, just as a tidbit of info

do with double round headlights. and yes a stubby tail would be SICK. most people on here would say go with dirty bars. I stayed with clipons on mine. but either way works.

after that tail, headlights and dirtybars are taken care of then its just onto the details.

welcome man, there are a couple of F3's on here (mine being one of them, still listed in the buildoff) feel free to get ideas and ask questions. and as far as this site convincing people to fighter their bikes. I found this place looking for pictures of an acerbis mounted on an f3...... (that was alot of $$ ago)
