Good morning everyone,
New member here, referred by my buddy Dan (sprbeast) with the orange TLR fighter.

My name's Jim, you'll probably see my ad banner floating around at the top of the site since I'm signed up as a site sponsor.

Here's a shot of my little project, 91 400 Bandit:

This pic was taken in the previous owners garage, before I got the bike. He crashed it during a trackday, and never bothered to fix it. Poor, poor neglected lil' bandito.....
Anyway, he sold a few of the important bits off her before I got my mits on it, like the exhaust, peg assemblies, 520 chain and sprockets.

But hey, I can't complain since he gave me the bike for nothing, right? Guess he cold tell by my enthusiasm that I was a true bandit fanatic, and decided to let me have it just for getting it out of his garage. In fact, he even felt bad for selling the parts off of it.

So far, I've collected a Vance & Hines exhaust (do you know how hard it is to find an exhaust for these?!), new clip-on to replace the broken one, new clutch cover, and some other misc. parts. Got her to the point that she runs, so now the fun begins, and just waiting for the inspiration to come.

Thanks for readin'

Yep...PA resident here...born and raised. Now if we could just get rid of this crap weather we're having......

I'll keep the mention of the parts in mind, skr00z. I do know I'm missing one of those aluminum pieces that mount on the ends of the radiator, but as for the rest I think it's pretty much complete. Not really sure how much stock stuff is going to go back on her anyway....:D

Also, for anyone else checking this thread out, I just added a StreetFighter decals section to the website. Only a few items at present, but if anyone has any ideas for other items that may fit into the 'fighter motif, let me know and I'll see what I can do about adding more.

Thanks,

Hmm...never saw those shirts.

Doesn't much matter anyway, I don't do shirts. Now if you wanted a decal that says that, I might be able to help you out...:)

Awww....no need to feel threatened by my presence here...:D

For the rearsets, there was another guy there that had an adapter plate for the GSXR, and we had to hog out one of the holes drastically so thatis was oval shaped, so we could get the bolt to line up. It was probably 3/8" out of whack....not even close for what was supposed to be a bolt-on fix.

Skr00z.... Cost is determined by complexity of the design (ie. how long it takes me to convert it to vector format), size of the decals, and how many colors are involved. Though the cost to convert it may be irrelevant, if it is nearly all text. Go ahead and send me the file, I'll take a look and see what we got. You can send to [email protected]

Thanks!

Hey Matt....how's it going? Any new projects in the works? Love the 82 by the way...great to see one of them in a good home, since you really never see them anymore.

As far as the B4 project, I'm really totally unsure which direction it's going to go. Currently it doesn't look any different that it did last year, but I have managed to source a few miscellaneous bits for it, and spent some time in the carbs. Go the motor running, so at least it's that far.

Really, the first stage of the project is going to be to get it into a complete and rideable condition, then go from there. I've got a few ideas, mostly 2 ends of hte spectrum on how she might end up. But alas, no details to be released yet.

cheers!

I've been looking for one of those for quite a while for Sarah. Seems like I either miss them by a few minutes, or people want $2500+ for them....I mean, come on, it's an early 90's 400:nuts:
