..The SV1Ks is bacially done. I have basically completed all the mods, that I wanted to for the winter. I still have to wire in a digital gear indicator that I got off Ebay cheap last year, and find a good deal on a gold 530 chain and get that sucker installed, and I am good to go. Luckily, I started acquiring all these parts at the end of last winter, and throughout the year up until I had my bad crash.....funds have been way too tight since then, and would have never allowed.

This round of mods were:

- Removal of the red flames and red wheels stripes
- Installation of 02 GSXR 750 USD front end
- Installation of 02 GSXR 750 fender
- Installation of 03 GSXR 1000 6 pot front calipers and discs
- Installation of Vesrah pads for GSXR 1000 calipers
- Installation of 02 GSXR 750 clips ons and trippes
- Installation of 03 GSXR 1000 rear shock
- Installation of 04 GSXR 1000 rear caliper, hanger, and Galfer SS line
- Installation of Pazzo's
- Installation of stock damper mount mod ( uses stock damper)
- Installation of Pro grips gel grips, and Shogun bar ends
- Re-installation of Stock windscreen
- Installation of clear clutch window
- Custom rear brake res. delete
- white/night glow wheel stripes
- Installation of red accent lighting

Repair/Maintainance
- New NGK Plugs
- Coolant flush/refill with Engine Ice
- complete system (Brake and Clutch)bleed and refill with Ate Super Blue
- Clutch slave rebuild

Mods already on bike:

- Suzuki Hugger
- Suzuki Gel seat
- Suzuki rear cowl
- Suzuki double bubble windscreen
- Fuel Moto TRE
- Chewy's Pair mod kit
- Yosh RS-3 Titanium cans
- LP short stalks up front
- Hot Bodies undertail
- Michellin Pilot Powers
- DZ custom plate mount
- Galfer SS lines
- Vesrah Sintered brake pads
- Vortex Rear Sets

Onto the pics:

And yes, the clear clutch cover window did fog up....which I think will go away when i fully run the bike.

Looks good.

Does the SV1k come with the rear brake underneath the swingarm?

Was the GSXR rear caliper difficult to install?
Nope, the 1K has it mounted topside....but the hangers are the exact same spacing, on the axle. It wasn't hard to mount at all...the hanger has to be modded, that is all.

A wrist band. I put one on my GSXR a while back because I put it on the 12 bar for a show and it would leak. So the wristband was to keep brake fluid from dripping all over the place. Then, my reservoir cap didn't seal properly, so I just left it on.

what did you use for this and was it hard to install,im guessing one of them is that thing attached to your passenger peg??

whats that thing over your brake res?
Yeah, like Endo said, its serves two purposes:
1. If fluid somehow leaks, it catches it before it starts to eat painted parts.
2. With regular brake fluid, its UV sensitive, and will break down faster when exposed to direct sunlight. I am actually using Ate Super Blue Brake fluid,so I don't know if that has the same issue or not.

3. It rocks. Wait till you see the one I have for the fighter, when its done.

I got it from the "hooptie" section of my local Advanced auto parts. Its pretty simple to install and wire up...just takes time. Plus, there was a good amount of time is just making mounts for each one, all six. For that, I used this strap handger stuff...looks like exhaust hanger material, but with big holes every couple mm's.
