Well I started out with a bunch of parts leftover from parting out a few motorcycles and blowing up my track bike. I had heard that putting fuel injection in a 1st gen frame wasnt going to happen, so I figured I would give it a whirl.

The beginning parts and a few starter mockup shots

Mockup of the tail and 2006 tank that would house the fuel sender/pump after the frame was modified and re-welded for the FI unit

Time to make the tank fit properly with the frame angles

Its banged up - gonna fix that later

Made some templates to make sure the gapping was proper

At this point I was getting closer to paint and final assembly. I moved locations from my shop to my Dads house where I paint. I was on a really tight timeframe to get to the National SV Rally in time (bike was build in about 4 weeks).

Getting the subframe all wrapped up.

Tank repair and body work to blend the skirt

I wanted to make the lines flow all the way from the head light into the tank and ultimately to the tail.

I used some steel stock to build up the filler

Nice work Nate. I had no idea you built it all in your garage. I thought you had done it at your brother's porsche shop. Nice build thread.:rock:
