you can run without one but its really not a good idea especially in the weather we are having at the moment

If the problem is that its in the way as its normally stuck up behind the fairing & you have removed the fairing you can always move the cooler back & down onto the frame you would need the pipes altering or new ones made to do this & you have to be sure there is enough clearance for the wheel movement without clouting the cooler

I did exactly the above on one of my cbr's with no issues & on another swapped the cooler for another that was less wide but thicker through so had the same capacity, its been a while but i think it may have been a triumph tripple one

Where abouts in warks are you ? i'm in nuneaton :)

Hose & fittings suppliers can make up new hoses for you but dont use nuneaton hose as they are stupidly expensive, a far better & cheaper guy is on lichfield road ind est in tamworth
