The bike I am going to use looks like this:

Except the one I have is in pieces.

List of Planned mods:

Yammie R1 front end with radial calipers
Honda 929 rear end, or VFR 750 (I like the single siders)
maybe SV650 tail
Tank, Dunno
underseat exhaust
dirty bars
and some other shit I have not thought of yet.

Cool! I'll be real interested in seeing this build up. Sounds like you have some really good ideas in the plans.

919 tank, V-rod headlight, The triumph fans I know would shit a brick sideways if they read this thread. Another good reason to do it. Can't wait to see it.

don't forget the engine mods!

I am not too sure about engine mods, triumph is not as reliable a bike as I would like, so I think I am going to keep it pretty much stock, maybe cams, I dunno yet.

ihi-rb3 twin turbos:rock:

if you don't already know the ihi-br3 turbo is made for disel generators d is the worlds smallest turbo if you check out http://blouchturbo.com/projects/gokart or http://blouchturbo.com/projects/pocketbike

that is a turbo pocket bike and 5hp briggs go cart
they do up to 400cc each and would fit the old triumph perfect!
also they are tiny ( http://www.blouchturbo.com/images/customprojects/projects_pocketbike_2_high.jpg that is a pic of it next to a normal 110cc honda style 4stroke)
being that small you may even be able to hide it in a belly pan?

either way long live the triumph fighter:knucks:

That sounds pretty interesting, don't think I have ever seen a turbo triumph.

maybe gonna come up on a bunch of for sale 69 to 73 triupmh parts tomarrow. hopefully enough to patch a bike together. sucky thing is swing arm is stretched. dont know how that will hurt the resell. how much does a clean titled frame and 650 motor go for nowadays ?

Ok guys, I have decided on what I am going to do for suspension.
I am purchasing a NT650 hawk GT single sided swinger, and then front wheel, and then some USD forks. I am doing the suspension upgrades, and then it will be cafe racer style. what do you guys think? sound good or no?

Dood, Triumph parts go for a bundle on ebay especially if you have a title...I built Triumph choppers for years and every year the stuff keeps going up...check out the listings:D
