I know its not a "classic" fighter, but Its an interesting bike to me, plus I picked it up for DIRT cheap with a smashed front and it runs like a champ.......I wanan know what kind of rear sub/seat I could put on it that wouldnt look totally goofy....

my plans
2-1 exhaust, high mounth with a two brothers medium can, rear bodywork from something else
probably gonna go with superbike bars....but I have a set of rental CR bends sitting on my toolbox.....
eventually I want to get bandit 1200 front forks/triple clamps/ wheel /brake setup
progressive rear shocks
dual headlights, maybe the acrebis setup?
Ive already machined a billet fork brace and Im gonna machine a tach mount and get rid of the speedo

help me out with some more ideas!

Im also gonna be purchasing a 89 katana that will be a better platform to start, but I wanna be riding this thing too, and I want it to be different.

yeah, i just went and mocked it up, but its hard for me to gauge it since its sooooo bright compared to the rest of the bike......and Im not too sure how high I should mount it, just below the top of the bars is what Im thinking.

I also took the gauges off, it looks ALOT cleaner without them

I'd give it a "buell-ification" treatment. The lines would fit well with a XB tail/seat, and the XB headlights are pretty easy to use on any bike... Thats probly the route I would go, like it was said though, your bike:rock:

what if I chopped the subframe right after the rear shock mounts and did a tractor seat or some kind of a single thin/low, like a stock R-6 one, and shave the plastics to length?
That is the first thing I thought of when I saw the bike pic...small...shorty tail, with a custom made tail piece....leave a lot of the rear open. I'd also try to do a shorty bad ass exhaust.

maybe those really short thin aftermarket cans from a Buell blast mounted together underneath the centerline of the frame? or maybe the same type of cans mounted under the footpegs.......
if you could do the plumbing OK, I would think that a shorty aftermarket can for the underneath would be tits.
