Hi guys, I just got an ABM top yoke for my CBR600RR and was a little surprised at the finish. This may be a stupid question but would the machining marks normally be visible on black anodised CNC parts? Or am I just being too picky or unreasonable to expect it to be smooth finish? Obviously the underside doesn’t matter as it won’t be seen but I didn’t think it would be so obvious.

Normal. Anodizing doesn't fill any marks like paint or powder coat would. I like the machine marks look personally.

Im with Mike on this, I like the machining marks, makes it look "proper"

polishing all the machining marks off would increase the price a fair bit , i rarely remove them

Looks like they polished it where the ABM sticker goes but not the other pockets? Maybe they left it there deliberately so it's obvious it's a CNC piece.
