Talked with Chris of Pain Inc. the other day. Sent me some recent pics of his R1. The first pic is from a magazine shoot we did about 3 years ago. This was the original paint job. It's gone through several veriations since then.

Here are a couple shots of the current version. Some very cool stuff in this one. I'm gona leave a little to the imagination. Hopefully he'll chime in soon and give us more details.

wasn't that bike in SSB a few issues back? i believe it had some crazy airbrush work under the tank/seat or something.

:yeah:The one piece tank and tail looks awesome, I like the old paint better, but it doesn't look like it's finished yet so that could change. The attention to detail is amazing, the forks and the wheels... :rock:

It looks like splash anodizing on the front forks, thats pretty cool

Skrooz, Yes, this was the red/grey bike in SSB with the airbrush under the tank.

Adam, I have told him about this site. He's got a bit going on as of late, Family, work, etc. so I don't know when he'll pop up. Honestly, I'm posting this to kind of tempt him out of hiding if he's lurking,

sorry, but that thing is FUGLY!!! I really liked the r1 in SF a few months ago with the stubby seat unit.

but this on is kinda nasty, too much emphasis on bodywork I think. but the exhaust is pretty nasty too.... I don't know, I'm just not fealin it

I like it, I think it looks different and that is hard to do these days. especially in a world were many people just get bolt ons and bling to change their ride.
