I need a petcock adapter plate for a high-flow petcock.

A simple spacer, but with 3/8" NPT threads in one hole.

The original adapter plate from Pingel is stainless and heavy. I'd like to try 6061 aluminum, but 7075 might be better, if available.

The aluminum adapter plate needs to be 6mm thicker/taller (to lower the petcock knob).

If anyone can make this part, I can post dimensions - or send you the stainless adapter.

It needs to be 6mm thicker, but how thick is it now?

I'm ordering a 3/8" NPT tonight for a project of my own. So I'll have that and , depending on your total thickness you need, I might have a order of stock that will work, too.

BUT, I don't have a mill, so it would sawn and sanded. Probably not the finished product yore looking for.

Also, the two mounting holes, do they have to be like they are now? With the little step in them, or can that be a full hole drilled all the way through?

The mounting holes do need the step. I think Trucker might take this job since he's got some 7075 ready to go. Just sent the drawings last night.

Thoughtful, too.

He didn't go too deep with the NPT tap. That way, I can tap it deeper to adjust the fit.

Which is exactly what I'm going to do.
