never had anything come off. you do sometimes get a slight dust the first time you clean it, i think it depends on the weather when it's being painted. sometimes i'd get it, sometimes not. in any case, never had any effect on the finish.

here's the dill pickles......i have taken my bike COMPLETELY apart....i mean the motor is sitting on the table wrapped in plastic wrap with no covers on it waiting to be painted.......every single part that can be painted is being painted......i've chosen 3 colors....black, black and black......there are no 2 things bolted together......EVERYTHING is apart......now the plan is......i'm going to put it all back together and try not to have extra parts left over......

Back to PJ-1, I was looking for it this weekend and the only flat black I could find was hi-temp. The bike shop said they couldn't find just plain flat black in their catalog to order either... Anybody found just plain flat black PJ1?

I've only found the hi-temp..either 500 degree or 1500 degree....however......if you are confident with steel wool.....you can use the PJ! Fast Black Epoxy and then brush over it with the super fine steelwool........

it does work MUCH better when it's warm. i painted the frame for my old xs cafe bike in december, and it took 3 days to fully cure. (and i only used 1 can!)
