Possible new bike
I have a guy wanting to trade me an 85 VF1000r for a little stainless tig work. I don't really need another bike, but I told him I would trade since I'm interested in what he is making.
I've seen the bike and its not perfect by any means. But I didn't really expect it to be. He has some spare parts to fix most of what needs fixed. What I'd like to know is, are these bikes worth a damn. I'd really like something to use for my commute instead of racking up the miles on my other bike.
Also, anyone have any links to any good builds with this model bike. Been searching and all I can find is restorations, nothing really custom

when it gets to the point you spend all your time working on other peoples bikes and not your own.....then you have no need for another bike .
