Just flushed my cooling system for antifreeze since I was only running water wetter (+water) before. Getting cold in the morning...
After lots of reading it looks like all we need is ethylene glycol that is silicate free.
Found this stuff at Oreillys that seems to fit the bill. It's a little pricey but probably still cheaper than buying quarts at the moto shop.

Well gentlemen it looks like I'm going back to the ugly headlight I was using before....
My buddy and I were cruising in town and were sandwiched between two cops and they pulled us (me) over for my headlight. They were more concerned with the color than the housing.
I put an hid bulb in there but with the housing being coated with this yellow stuff, the color of the light became blue+yellow= greenish. So he gave me a warning and told me to fix it over the weekend :(

You gonna relocate those cables/hoses in front of the light?

Also, could you just get the yellow coating off the glass with fine sandpaper?

It's not on the glass, it's the inside of the housing that's coated... So it's on to the next idea...
Open to suggestions!

And I did move the throttle cables a little but not much... I couldn't think of a different way to route them without getting caught somewhere...

I guess at this point I won't lose anything my trying to sand down the glass...

I would try getting the coating off with chemicals instead of sanding... if it is a coating.
Too late. Sanded already.... Used 1000 and 2000 grit, rubbing compound, and PlastX. The first one I was being stupid and grabbed the first sheet I saw which was 220 -__-
So it came out a little scratched but not really a big deal to me. The coating is off. Now I just need to make the mount for both lights.
