I heard wrapping headers can over heat the engine cause it keeps the heat in, don't quote me on that, just saying what I heard

I know some you have to spray this crap they sell in a can its 15$ in fl but its like a sealer I'm assuming that keeps out the rain and moisture, if you don't do that I think rain could possibly get in the wrapping and sit in there cause the exhaust to rust faster. I THINK, someone on here will know but I'm assuming that's what would happen
