Ive been trying to build a street fighter out of my 2006 zxrr, and i want to put a single vintage headlight on it but the ram air is inbetween the front forks right where i want to put the headlight on this model. Will i lose all my top end power if i cover this hole?

In reality, ram air does next to nothing. At top speed (say 150+) it might be good for a couple hp. At 80mph, it's doing squat.

That said, deleting it tends to cause tuning issues, since the carbs are plumbed/tuned based on this mild positive pressure. The frame holes can be plugged assuming you have the airbox draw air from somewhere else, and the carb bowls exposed to normal atmospheric pressure as they would be on a normal carb. I'd imagine some mild rejetting may be needed.

Don't fall into the temptation to just chuck the stock airbox- you WILL lose power with pod filters.
