phase 2 mock up the new upside downs I got in early for xmas

first took the old ones off and placed them on a side stand...

then with the help of a big friend put them on with the old wheels for mock up.

so know I need new front and rear rims.. axle bolts... adjusters, calipers, and clip ons... yay.. ebay hunting and spending more dough... tank should be in sat or mon. to finish mock ups...

well, got my tank in and had to hammer in some spots to make it kinda fit.. have to do some glassing to fill in the gaps. but it is all mocked up and bolted in.. just needs touch up and gap filling..

ordered a front wheel. wheel spacers. rear break assembly, and risers.. pictures to come.

did some work on the tail. didn't like the first one.
first trimmed it down and made the top more narrow.

then added the back of the tail.

it helps me to see it on the computer so I will post before tail and this tail

when the swing arm goes up (white arrow) the triangle swivels (blue arrow)..

putting the rear tire on...

grinded the adjusters to fit nice and snug in swing arm

then grinded a 1/4 inch of of the rear brake, used a car jack to adjust the swinger around 1/4 of an inch.. and perfect fit..

then ground off the tabs on the tank attachment

as she currently stands and with the new idea on how to blend the tank in... hope I am not over my head with this next step?????

just got these in the mail 50 for the wheel and 10 for the risers!!!

Finally had a little time to get to the bike. I did both sides and grinded and welded. more pics to come soon!
