Hey all!
Just got back into the two-wheel scene after a hiatus of 5 years following the sale of my first bike, a 2008 Ninja 250, in 2012. I'm down in San Diego, CA if any of you happen to be in that area and want to connect.
I found a relatively clean '03 SV650S owned by some kid that was apparently much better at taking things apart than putting them together. As a result, the entire cluster area is a clusterfuck (nonexistent, really).
Anyhow, it runs well enough, good tires, straight fork, and I got it for a grand so

I'm a fan of cafe racers and fighters, so I was hoping to somehow make this project a cafe fighter hybrid.
First things first, though. I gotta get the headlight and cluster back on this thing so I can take her out for some joyrides.
Can't wait to learn from you all and get this project rolling
