i may relocate mine at some point, and get rid of all the controls on the bars at the same time. probably just run a set of toggles under the seat like i did on my xs. don't have any pics of it though. not that it was much to look at anyway.

you could always dig up mshaps keyless ignition thread and do something similar.

If you've got any gaps in your frame or subframe or tail you could put in there, just far back enough that you can get your key in without it being too visible.

Here's mine. Just keep in mind that if you mount it sticking out the side of your bike then there is a chance that if you lay your bike down it may not start again. I installed a remote starter so I don't even use the key ignition.

I was looking at a remote starter over the weekend. Don't they automatically turn off after a certain period of time? Or does that get canceled out once you start riding? The only reason I want to move my ignition is so I can fit my gauges where the ignition is now.

most remote starts will shut off after a while, unless you put the key in the ignition to bypass it. that's the way they're SUPPOSED to work anyway, there's ways around everything though.
