Hi. Just got a GSXR K1. Fairing is a right-off so i am looking to Streetfighter it. I've got the electric loom inside the frame but need a replacement for the air box as this is now where the majority of the loom is. Can anybody recommend any replacement air filter/s and where to get them.

Welcome in!

So you want to delete the airbox completely? I highly recommend that you don’t. It houses a couple sensors needed by the ECU. You’ll need to figure out how/where to relocate them plus a bunch of messing with the fueling to get things back to where they were if it’s even possible.

My suggestion is to shorten the harness to remove the excess length.

or bin the airbox, fit a power commander, ramair foam socks on the throttle body trumpets , the two sensors from the airbox will need mounting near by (MAP and air temp) , i've done thousands of miles in all weathers, never an issue

don't get me wrong, airbox and fairing are prob ideal..... that's how it was designed.... but where's the fun in that
