Torque them to spec the first time and leave it alone. No need to re-torque anything, it is a modern, water cooled Japanese four cylinder, they are not some shit heap that leaks oil and persistently needs adjustment, no need to throw some back woods mechanic bullshit at it.


Whoever told you to do that needs to fuck off away from tools.

I been under a bit of stress lately working on bikes that have been worked over by the dumbest of the dumb lately so I'm a little on edge over uninformed advice. :D





Some engines DO require a retorque like GreY said, but on that particular engine I would go with the service specs, set the torque, and call it a day at that. ;)
