the other day, i was riding down the road, and something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye, i looked over and i saw a fluorescent green motorcycle helmet on someones head about a quarter mile down the road.... so yesterday i decided to paint mine safety green, heres some pics, it is comming out awesome, im between the 3rd and 4th coat of clear were puttin 5 or 6 coats of clear on it, used rattlecan primer and green, but quality clear.... i put an icon sticker on my kbc, haha :squid: gotta love having friends that know how to do something. the guy painting it works at auto collision shop. were also painting his gf's cavalier that got rear ended, she stopped for an ambulance and the person behind her didnt, and claimed, "when i see an ambulance... i speed up" :wtf:

no, we sprayed the green before we sprayed the base on the cavi, then moved the helmet, color coated the cavi, moved the helmet back in the paint booth (garage) then cleared everything. ya, overspray is evil, the little plated on the side of my lid that hold on the visor were doing metallic black, itll be an awesome 10$ paint job on my lid, then itll be really awesome when we buff it, wish i coulda put some customfghters stickers in it but painted on one days notice of the idea of doing so....

lol, nope, i'm riding 40-50 miles a day on the street with stunt sprockets gas milage sucks, but i can wheelie at will in pretty much every gear, so it's worth it.
