It would appear I've been roped into reviving someone else's hopes and dreams ...again..... I keep saying never again, but at least its something a bit diff for me

first i get brought a bundle of bits

it's a GT550...... heavy lump of jap iron

oh and can I fit this front end too

back to my shed at the bottom of the garden

throw the original arm in to get the angle of the dangle

and then pop the Harris arm back in

so far so good, best get to it

by tomorrow i want the arm to sit like this without the need for straps and string

this cross piece wasn't going to cut the mustard

so off it went and a new tube moved into the vacant spot

these will form the new top shock mount

busy weekend , but it's looking like a bike now

the rear wheel(blade front ) will be replaced with a proper rear, the subframe will be finished once i get it on its proper feet with the front end done

the 160 tyre fits, but it'll need a bit of jiggling about of the wheel

this is a little close

plenty room on this side
